Mahabaleshwar is the best known of the Sahyadri hill stations, perched high on the Western Ghats of Maharashtra amid cool air, forested slopes and sweeping valley viewpoints.
It is famous for its many “points” overlooking the plains, the boating lake at Venna, its strawberry farms and, close by, the charming twin hill town of Panchgani with its flat-topped Table Land.
