Gujarat Explorer is free to read and reader-supported. To keep it that way, we use advertising and affiliate links. This page explains, in plain language, what affiliate links are and what they mean for you.
1. What affiliate links are
Some links on this website are “affiliate links.” If you click one and then book a stay, hire a cab, or buy a product, we may earn a small commission. It costs you nothing extra — you pay exactly the same price you would have paid anyway.
2. Who our partners are
We work with reputable travel and retail partners, which may include:
- Stays & hotels — Booking.com, Agoda, MakeMyTrip and similar accommodation partners;
- Transport — cab, train and flight booking partners (such as MakeMyTrip);
- Products — the Amazon Associates Programme, for crafts, books and travel gear.
As an Amazon Associate, Gujarat Explorer earns from qualifying purchases.
3. How we choose what to recommend
We only point you towards stays, services and products we believe are genuinely useful for a trip to Gujarat. A commission never changes our editorial opinion — we are not paid to write positive reviews, and our guides are written independently. Where any content is sponsored, we label it clearly.
4. Prices and availability
Prices, ratings and availability shown for hotels and products are supplied by our partners and can change at any time. The figures on our pages are illustrative; always confirm the current price and details on the partner’s own website before you book or buy.
5. Bookings happen on our partners' sites
Gujarat Explorer does not process bookings or take payments. When you book a stay or buy a product, you do so on the partner’s website, under their terms and privacy policy. We are not responsible for their service, fulfilment, pricing or any transaction — please also read our Disclaimer.
