1. An independent, unofficial guide
Gujarat Explorers (“the website”, “we”, “us”, “our”) is a privately-run, independent travel-information website. It is NOT affiliated with, authorised by, endorsed by or connected to the Government of Gujarat, Gujarat Tourism / TCGL, the Government of India, or any government department or official authority. References to such bodies, places, monuments, festivals or events are for general informational and editorial purposes only and imply no official association or approval.
2. General information only
The content here is provided for general informational and educational purposes only. It is not professional, legal, financial, medical, safety or formal travel advice, and should not be relied upon as such.
3. Accuracy and changes
We make every reasonable effort to keep our information helpful and current, but we make no warranties of any kind as to its accuracy, completeness or reliability. In particular:
Always verify important details with official sources or the relevant venue/partner before you travel or make a decision.
- Opening hours, ticket prices and entry rules change without notice;
- Festival and fair dates often follow the lunar calendar and shift each year;
- Transport, road, weather and local conditions vary;
- Hotel and product prices, ratings and availability shown via our partners can change at any time.
4. Advertising and affiliate links
This website is free to read and is supported by advertising (including Google AdSense) and by affiliate links. Some links are affiliate links to third-party partners such as Booking.com, Agoda, MakeMyTrip and Amazon; if you book or buy through them, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. The presence of an advertisement or affiliate link is not an endorsement, and we are not responsible for the products, services, pricing or claims of any advertiser or partner. See our Affiliate Disclosure for details.
5. No bookings or payments by us
Gujarat Explorers is an information portal and lead facilitator. We do not operate a taxi or transport service and we are not a carrier. For cabs and taxis, we simply pass your enquiry to independent, licensed local operators, who provide the ride and are solely responsible for it — including the driver, vehicle, safety, timing, fares, insurance and any cancellation or refund. We do not sell, operate, guarantee or take payment for the transport, and we form no transport contract with you; that contract is solely between you and the operator. The same applies to stays, tickets and products offered via our partners. Any booking, enquiry or transaction is made at your own risk.
6. Travel, safety and personal responsibility
Travel involves inherent risks. Check current advisories, local laws, customs and weather before and during any trip. You are solely responsible for your own decisions, safety, health, insurance and conduct. We are not responsible for any loss, injury or inconvenience arising from your use of this site or your travels.
7. Religious and cultural sensitivity
We describe places of worship and cultural sites respectfully. Many sacred sites restrict entry, dress or photography, and some shrines are reserved for particular communities. Always follow the rules and guidance at each site.
8. Third-party links
This website links to external websites we do not control. We are not responsible for their content, accuracy, policies or practices, and inclusion of a link is not an endorsement.
9. Images, names and trademarks
Photographs are used under open or free licences (e.g., Wikimedia Commons) and credited to their sources; where none is available we use clearly-labelled illustrations. Names, trademarks and brands belong to their respective owners and are used descriptively only.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Gujarat Explorers and its contributors shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental or consequential loss or damage arising from your use of, or reliance on, this website or its content.
11. Changes to this disclaimer
We may update this disclaimer at any time. Changes take effect once posted, and your continued use means you accept the current version.
